Segue Training

These hands-on classes are held at convenient locations. Read the descriptions and choose the level that's right for you. Each course includes a student guide and a disk containing solutions to the case exercises. Once we've received your reservation and payment, we'll mail you a confirmation packet that will include your receipt as well as complete information regarding training site location, maps, parking and hotel accommodations. QualityWorks Foundations - $895
Testing with the Recorders

Description:
A broad 2-day, hands-on training course using the suite of integrated QualityWorks recorders to successfully test an application. In following the QualityWorks methodology model, content includes planning and organizing what to test, capturing application information, creating and running tests, and reporting test results and progress. QualityWorks products utilized include: QA Organizer, QA Partner, and GO!

Audience/Prerequisites:
QA testers, analysts, engineers and supervisors who need to develop a working knowledge of the QualityWorks testing methodology and recorders. While no previous experience with QualityWorks is assumed, knowing how to navigate a GUI environment is necessary. Experience testing GUI applications is helpful, but not required.

QualityWorks Intermediate - $895
Testing with 4Test Language

Description:
A 2-day, hands-on course utilizing the powerful 4Test scripting language to test applications. Concepts such as branching and looping statements, and variables will be introduced and used to enhance testcase functionality. Additional topics include debugging testcases, using and creating functions to simplify reuse, handling errors, writing data driven testcases, storing and retrieving data from functions, external files, window declarations, testplans, and data bases. QualityWorks products utilized include: QA Organizer, QA Partner, and DB Tester.

Audience/Prerequisites:
QA testers, analysts and engineers who want to capitalize on the benefits of utilizing the 4Test scripting language in their tests. Must have taken QualityWorks Foundations or equivalent experience. Familiarity with structured programming languages and structured query languages (SQL) is helpful but not required.

QualityWorks Advanced - $1195
Advanced 4Test Topics

Description:
An in-depth, 3-day, hands-on course designed for anyone who needs to develop a more complete working knowledge of QA Partner. Topics explored include how to declare new window classes, write new methods and properties, work with custom objects, and test distributed applications. QualityWorks products utilized: QA Partner.

Audience/Prerequisites:
QA testers and engineers who want to maximize their automated testing efficiency. QualityWorks Intermediate or equivalent experience, plus experience with structured programming languages and testing GUI applications is required. Familiarity with object oriented programming concepts is helpful, but not requisite.
